Networking for Non-Networkers
Today I spoke with a Bull Pen member who's having trouble finding clients. Like many of us, she's unsure about how to network - how to find the right events, and use those events to make contacts that could potentially lead to sales.
Some of us are natural networkers - but for the rest of us, it takes work. Networking can be frustrating, even scary for us shier types. Newbies (like me) can practice networking by going to different events, talking to different people, and learning how to speak about their business in the best way possible. Of course, the best networkers are always networking - building connections and sales leads through every conversation. (Easier said then done.)
With this in mind, I am hosting my first networking event this Thursday, aptly named "Who Do You Know?".
